Let me start with this: DJ & Jordan found us by searching the internet for LGBTQ+ friendly photographers. That means I came up on organic search in the St Louis area for LGBTQ+ friendly wedding photographers… and I couldn’t be more excited to serve and represent the community! We are and always will be inclusive of everyone.
For their engagement session, they chose the Mural Mile in St. Louis, which was just recently repainted back in September!
Jack and I arrived early, check out the Gateway Arch for a bit and had time out scope out some of the area for our session. Although I’ve been in Missouri for over 8 months now, I really haven’t been into the city much so this was my first time actually visiting the Arch.
Once DJ & Jordan arrived, we met them about a mile from the Arch along the flood wall and immediately got rolling. It was a cold and cloudy day, which don’t get me wrong makes for great photos but isn’t incredibly fun to be out in too long! After walking along the murals for 30-45 minutes, capturing their personalities and love for one another, I was in love with every photo and ready to get back into the warmth.
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session:
This was such a fun and unique session, and I’m sure their wedding next year will be just as fun and unique! Thank you again for trusting Royal Photos to document the story of your love and your wedding.
