The Royal Photos Headshot & Portrait Photography Experience
The Royal Photos Headshot & Portrait Photography Experience is just as simple and straightforward as our sports experience, with a service oriented and client-focused methodology! We want you to be comfortable, happy with, and proud of the images we deliver for you.
1 – Discovery
From your initial inquiry to our one-on-one phone consults, the discover phase is when we get to know you and learn all about the vision you have for your wedding day – your photo & video needs, special requests, wedding details, and more.
Initial Inquiry: As a photography company, usually potential clients (you) reach out to us first – either though social media, our website, email, phone, or other platform. We’ve now been based in Troy, Missouri for 8 months but are still accepting inquiries from North Carolina, as well as the rest of the US!
After your initial inquiry, we’ll send over a brief questionnaire! It helps us get to know you better and get an overview of your headshot or portrait needs. We’ll go over your responses and any questions you may have in your first one-on-one phone consult, the discovery call. In this call you’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about us and our services – but this is where we focus on you and your vision.
2 – Booking
Your personalized booking call is where we’ll go over your options. With all of the information you gave us in the discovery phase, we’ll present you with three collection options – each aligning with your vision, but all unique in their offerings. In this one-on-one consult you’ll receive a digital copy of your personalized collection options to reference while we discuss them! We’ll also go over the key points of your photography contract and payment plan details, so there’s no surprises when you’re ready to book.
Once you’ve chosen your collection options, we’ll be able to draft your contract and invoice. The 40% nonrefundable deposit and signed contract are required to reserve your headshot or portrait session time and date!
3 – Planning
Once you’re in our calendar, you’ll have access to our detailed welcome kit. This kit includes resources, helpful information, our contact information, & more! In this phase we’ll work on outfit styling, scope out your chosen locations ahead of your session date, and create a shot list personalized to you. Everything we need to do to make your headshot or portrait session as unique as you are.
4 – Your Photo Session
The day you say ‘cheese‘ for my camera! Just kidding, just kidding, we’re not that kind of portrait company. This is when we do all the work and you just do you – the day when the magic happens. We’ll arrive before our scheduled start time, make sure everything is set up, and get right into capturing your headshots or portraits at your scheduled session time. Don’t forget to relax, we’re all human!
5 – After Your Session
Your work is done! At Royal Photos, this phase is where we work to edit your images and deliver a beautiful, carefully crafted gallery of your photos to you.
During this phase we’d also love to hear your feedback on your experience with us! We have a client survey we can send over, or you can leave your feedback on Google, Facebook, or the comments of this blog post!
