Introduction

Hello there! It’s Brendan the owner and lead creative here at Royal Photos, your go-to photography company for all of your wedding & elopement, sports, and portrait photo needs. Since moving to Troy, Missouri back in March 2023, Royal Photos has been restarted almost from scratch with zero local contacts – a new market, a new audience, and a new website (due to technical issues). That means I wasn’t getting any inquiries local to Lincoln County or St Louis area. Since March we’ve booked almost double digit weddings in Missouri (plus weddings booked in North Carolina) – and we’ve met so many amazing and unique people since moving here, and want to meet more!

What’s New At Royal Photos

At Royal Photos, we’re always growing and changing to bring our clients the best service and experience possible! That means new services, new client resources, and new ways of doing things. Continue reading below to read about the new things going on at Royal Photos in 2024:

Mini Sessions

We have some new things in store for the 2024 fiscal year that we’re really excited about, with the biggest one of all being… mini sessions! We’re planning to host more than 10 days of mini photo sessions throughout 2024, mainly in the Lincoln and St Charles County areas.

To stay up to date on mini session dates and details, follow us on social media or subscribe to the RP Newsletter!

The Royal Photos Team

Although yes, I, Brendan, am still your main contact, the main driving force, and decision maker at Royal Photos, it’s no longer a one man team! We now have an entire team of photographers and videographers working together to document your unique stories and once-in-a-lifetime moments. Plus, my partner in life, Jack, is now my second shooter or assistant at most weddings, events, and sessions!

Our Goals For 2024

With a new home, in a new state, and starting from practically nothing, we still have a ton of growing to do. With that comes many many goals for the new year!

Weddings & Elopements

Though we’re so proud of all the work we’ve done and grateful for the clients we’ve booked in 2023, we want to double the number of weddings and elopements booked in 2024! Not only do we plan to double our bookings in 2024 for weddings and elopements, we aim to book more out-of-state. We even have a bucket list of locations you can view here! This list consists of all the wedding and elopement destinations we’ll photograph your big day at free of charge – you’ll just cover our travel and accommodations (if applicable).

Sports

In 2023, we really didn’t do a ton of sports photography or videography – and that definitely needs to change! For sports, our goals include…

  • Adding new sports to our portfolio (softball, volleyball, football, swim, etc.)!
  • Finding at least one or two organizations to partner with (for one or multiple seasons).
  • Working with all skill levels: tee ball to varsity and college.

Headshots & Portraits

From professional headshots to bridals, senior photos, Royal Photos is your one stop for all of your professional headshot and portrait photography needs! In 2024, we want to take more headshots, more senior sessions, and more families. We also really want to add in-home portrait sessions to our portfolio. We’ve always offered these unique, intimate sessions but don’t get many requests for them – let’s change that!

Conclusion

There’s so much happening now and going on behind the scenes that I’m so excited to share with everyone! And I’m ready to continue growing throughout the next year – hitting goals and milestones we talked about here.

As always, thank you for reading, and don’t forget to follow along for updates like this!
